We are Super Excited! Bookings are Open for our fun Clay workshops Supported by Creative Ireland.  For our clay projects we draw inspiration from the natural forms and textures of the River Nore. The theme of the workshop is the celebration of our culture, our life, the world we live in is close to our heart and purpose.

Techniques and clay types used are inspired by medieval techniques and colours. i.e using stoneware/terracotta/brown clay and decoration with coloured engobes. Participants create ceramic tiles inspired by local flora/ fauna and history/ buildings  etc

The skills and techniques participants would be learning are incorporated in the traditional arts and craft of pottery. Participants would be taught basic handbuilding techniques on the appropriate level to each age group and will be making their own piece of pottery and decorate them with glazes.
