The Children’s Creative Hub aims to inspire young festival-goers to connect with local food through creativity, imagination and hands-on making.

Children will discover that food isn’t just something we eat—it is colour, shape, pattern, culture, memories and community.

Working with clay, paint, printmaking and collaborative art, they’ll learn about local produce while expressing their own unique FOOD Story.

Who knew broccoli could become a flower? Or that lettuce could create beautiful patterns?

Children will experiment with fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs to create colourful prints on reusable bread bags, tote bags, placemats or fabric keepsakes.

This playful workshop introduces sustainable creativity while celebrating the amazing textures and shapes found in locally grown produce.
